What’s the charging time?
The Nellies WOW Mop will take 3-5 hours to charge. When all three lights are on, the mop is fully charged!
What’s the running time?
When fully charged, the Nellie’s Mop will run for up to 90 mins. Plenty of time to do your whole house many times over!
Is this a steam mop?
The Nellie's WOW Mop is not a steam mop, they operate very differently, using heat to loosen dirt particles rather than scrubbing the dirt away.
The Wow Mop is a gentler and safer way of cleaning. With a built-in motor powering the pads that work at 1000 oscillations per minute, it effectively scrubs your floors and removes dirt! The pads are made from microfibre, which means they won’t scratch or damage your flooring, they’re super gentle and super effective!
So lightweight, you can move the mop along with next to no effort required, and the cordless feature means you are unrestricted in your movement.
The Nellies Mop works best when using filtered or purified/boiled water to remove any impurities from the water and ensure you get the best possible results.
What kind of flooring can I use this on?
We would firstly recommend that you follow your manufacturer-provided guidelines for the use and care of your flooring, however, The Nellie’s WOW Mop is compatible with most kinds of flooring!
The great thing about the Nellie's WOW Mop is that you are in control of how much water is applied to your floors. The clever push-button liquid delivery system pushes out a light spray when needed, instead of flooding your floors and potentially damaging them!
We recommend the use of white distilled vinegar and water as the cleaning solution that can be put into the reservoir of the mop.
The pads are made from microfibre, a highly recommended cleaning material (and gentle) which means they won’t scratch or damage your flooring.
Can I use it on Carpet?
The Nellie's Wow Mop can be used on carpet!
We recommend using the white fluffy floor pads on carpet and rugs.
Just apply your own carpet cleaner directly onto the carpet/rug, and go over it with the mop! The high-frequency motor powers twin oscillating pads that will be able to effectively work the product in for you and lift up dirt and stains.
What is the difference between the white mop pads and the blue mop pads?
The Blue Wet Floor Pads are ideal for mopping, scrubbing and cleaning on hard floors and carpets.
The White Fluffy Floor Pads are ideal for dry dusting, buffing and polishing as well as for cleaning up those larger liquid spills on hard floors, and carpets!
Nellie’s Blue Scrub & Polish Pads are our newest pads, the front pad scrubs and absorbs liquid whilst the back pad polishes and dries your floors.
Can I use boiling water in the tank?
Boiling water can be added and will not damage the water tank. We find that adding 90ml of vinegar and 100ml of hot purified/filtered water using the measuring cup provided, will give you the best results
How much liquid does the tank hold?
The Nellie's Mop tank holds around 190ml of liquid. We suggest adding 90ml of vinegar + 100ml of hot (filtered) water using the measuring cup included
How often do you fill up the tank?
This all depends on how much water you need to use to clean your floors, how dirty it is and the size of the space that requires mopping. If you don’t like to flood the floors a full tank usually lasts for the whole house. For the first couple of mops you may need to refill the tank a couple of times for a thorough and deep clean.
What can I put in the tank?
We suggest adding 90ml of vinegar + 100ml of hot (filtered) water using the measuring cup included. If you would like to use solution specific to your kind of flooring, we advise putting it directly onto the floor and letting the mop do the rest!
What are the dimension of the mop head?
The mop head is 30cm x 30cm.
Can I use it on the bathroom tiles on the wall?
Yes! You can shorten the handle to make it easier to manoeuvre the mop. Spray some cleaning solution on the surface and mop over the top!
Can I use any charger that fits?
Only charge the unit with the charger provided. Replacement chargers can be purchased if required.
What is the warranty?
The warranty for the Nellie’s Wow Mop is 1 year, and the battery is 2 years.
